Wanted – Volunteer Dance Facilitator – Richmond

Our Dance and Yoga classes are two of our many successful programs at CPABC. The classes provide an opportunity for children and youth with disabilities to gain a tremendous amount of confidence! In addition, our instructors for both class are extremely experienced working with people with disabilities. Volunteers are needed to ensure the classes run smoothly each week and we are currently recruiting for a volunteer to help us with our dance program in Richmond at Cambie Community Centre on Tuesdays between approximately 5pm and 6:15pm. If interested, please contact Amanda at admin@bccerebralpalsy.com.
Tasks
• Arrive 15 minutes prior to class to help set up the class. Tasks include: Set up chairs, put cookies and juice boxes on the table, get the forms and sign in sheets ready
• Greet parents and children with nice manners and a bright smile
• Sign them in or help new participants with the waivers and forms
• Answer any inquires that parents and participants may have
• Address any concerns from the participants (or their family) to the CPABC staff and instructor
• Support the CPABC staff the best way possible during emergencies
• Participate in the class, help the instructor and socialize
