PeerNet Spring workshops

PeerNetBC host a series of community workshops that occur twice per year. They are open to everyone, and offer an opportunity to network with people from various communities, groups and organizations. Upcoming workshops in May will explore topics such as facilitation skills, self-care and community engagement & leadership. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to learn something new and meet new friends!
This is an excellent opportunity for youth, like yourselves, to take advantage of. The series of upcoming workshops will provide you with skills that are transferable to your future endeavours. In addition, there are many benefits associated with peer to peer support. According to the International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, “peer support for people with similar life experiences has proven to be important in moving towards healing and critical learning” (Mead & MacNeil, 2006).

For more information on these upcoming May workshops, contact info@peernetbc.com, or visit their website at www.peernetbc.com.
